This is a full time position based in Venice, CA. We are an early stage company built by experienced veterans and we are looking for an individual who thrives in a ?startup? environment. As a Senior Engineer for a technology based startup, you will be working with experts in the VR/AR space creating our new platform.

You can effectively articulate technical challenges and a variety of solutions.

Must-haves
Experience in building complex, successfully delivered software systems.
Experience and opinions about professional software engineering best-practices.
BS, Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with:
Easy grasp of programming languages such as Ruby, Python and Java
Linux (Centos)
Scaling micro web services and APIs (nginx, Puma/Thin)
Relational and NOSQL based databases (Hadoop, Mongo, postgresql, Elasticsearch)
Message based event bus
Content Management Systems
Amazon Web Services
Able to quickly perform problem isolation in an online production environment
Requires strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to work under minimal supervision, independently and/or as a member of a project team.
