RN Staff Nurse Job Opening in Hempstead, New york - Island Assisted Living is a 200 Assisted Living Program community that is a progressive leader in the Assisted Living field. Responsibilities include but not limited too:
Staff RN responsible for the Assisted Living Program function of the community - reports directly to the Director of Healthcare
Assessments and care planning of Residents and managing the required paperwork for the program
Professional development of LPN and HHA staff with limited supervision requirements
Communicate with families when necessary
Active RN License in NYS and in good standing
UAS and Compucare experience a plus
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with residents and their families and at all levels of the organization. This position reports to the Director of Healthcare.
Qualified candidates will possess a Associate or Bachelor?s Degree from a two or four-year college / university and a minimum of 2 years of ALP/Long Term Care/Homecare experience.
