Senior Staff Accountant Job Opening in Pittsford, New york - Job Description
We are a growing CPA firm in search of a senior or manager level staff person. We are a modest sized firm that focuses on tax work more than auditing. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of public accounting experience with a strong background and interest in tax preparation. A CPA is preferred but not required. We are also open to individuals with industry/controller experience that would like to work in public accounting.
We work with a variety of higher income individuals and businesses. You should be a self starter, comfortable working independently, willing to work hard and enjoy working directly with clients. We take a team approach, reviewing each other's work and supporting each other in client service and as an information resource. We would expect you to do the same.
We focus on the end product and a cohesive staff. Work should not be your life, but you should enjoy this part of your life.
We respect your personal life and don't expect you to work outside of our scheduled hours. We have a flexible 52 hour week during tax season and 35-36 hour week the rest of the year and close the office Friday afternoons in the summer.
