Strategic Behavioral Center is a 112-bed psychiatric residential and acute treatment facility specializing in children, adolescents, and aging adults. Qualifications
Education: Our nursing staff come to us with a variety of educational , Bachelors and Master prepared. While a Bachelor?s degree or higher is preferred, we value the education commitment shown by each nursing candidate.
: Each team member must be fully licensed to provide nursing services in the state employed. With psychiatric nursing being highly specialized, preference will be given those nursing professionals who have gained the credential of Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist [CNS] or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing [RN-BC]
Experience: The SBC Nursing Department is inclusive of nurses with varying degrees of experience including new graduates and those with experience outside of the specialty of psychiatric nursing. We are committed to ensuring that each nurse within our system is provided the opportunity for growth both personally and professionally through comprehensive orientation, continued education, mentorship and a work environment that is conducive to peer-to-peer learning. Preference will be given to those candidates with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
