Summary: The role of the Business Development Rep is to work with existing and potential Galls customers to significantly grow the business. The role will focus on agencies spending $5k or less annually with Galls with a goal of capturing all of the business from these accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Achieve daily established activity targets
Contact active, low volume customers to develop a relationship, to achieve account retention and to achieve account penetration.
Contact inactive customers; identify and resolve any customer concerns; and reinstate as a Galls customer.
Contact new/prospective customers to identify needs in order to build customer base and increase sales.
Work collaboratively with regional sales team to develop and execute sales strategy for assigned accounts.
Maintain customer contact database inclusive of all account decision makers and account information including logging all calls and opportunities.
Develop strong customer relationships by developing credibility and trust as well as being appropriately responsive and knowledgeable.
Provide status reports that reflect such information as forecast of revenue and margin, customer activity and retention issues.
Drive key metrics to include increasing percent purchasing, increasing average order by customer, increasing frequency of orders, building out portfolio, increasing cross category penetration
Obtain competitive intelligence by gathering and analyzing information from human and published sources about market trends and industry developments and the capabilities, vulnerabilities and intentions of business competitors that allow for advanced identification of risks and opportunities to our business.

2-4 years of sales experience, Bachelor?s degree preferred
Ability to maintain high activity levels
Understand Galls processes
Strong presentation skills, good verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to establish new business
Highly organized, effective time management
Strong team player
Ability to delegate effectively
