Full Time Nurse Manager Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - Palolo Chinese Home does not pay for relocation. Must be immediately available for in person interview.
Palolo Chinese Home (PCH) is currently seeking a qualified Full Time Nurse Manager. This person will manage the operations and staff of the Adult Residential Care Home and Nursing Home. Develops and conducts training programs and work assessments for all new and current employees. Completes all Quality Assurance activities for Resident Care.
Qualification Requirements:
Skills/knowledge :
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
Must have previous experience in medical setting and familiarity with long term care and social service procedures.
Is able to handle residents based on whatever functional level they are currently at
Possess leadership abilities, patience, tact and a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
Must be proficient with MS office products, such as Word, and Excel.
Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
Must be able to read and write English to facilitate proper communication with others
Education/Training : Must have a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and must have a Hawaii State RN license, First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience: must have at least 3 years? experience as a licensed nurse in a LTC setting. Previous experience helpful. Must have training and experience in rehabilitative, geriatric or long-term care nursing concepts.
