Clinical Care Coordinator Job Opening in Wichita, Kansas - KMH is looking for an energetic and caring registered nurse to join our team as the Clinical Care Coordinator of our Assisted Living. The coordinator plans, organizes, directs and coordinates all nursing services and resident care in our Assisted Living. The coordinator is responsible for providing knowledge and skills to staff in specific areas of clinical accountability, assuring that the community has the needed resources to be successful, assuring the hiring, training, and evaluation of all reporting staff are done appropriately, and assuring regulatory compliance. The coordinator is also responsible for completing staff assignments, coaching staff and assisting with evaluations and disciplinary actions, and communicates with interdepartmental teams to respond to resident needs and preferences. The Nursing Coordinator monitors and implements the resident Plan of Care and is responsible for the direct oversight of Nurse Aides and Medication Aides. The coordinator will also deliver direct healthcare services as needed to the residents and develop close relationships with residents and family members.
Applicants for this position will provide a supervisory role and are required to handle employees in a manner that assists them in their ability to function effectively. Applicants must be able to build a good working relationship among the staff that they manage, as well as other departmental staff. Applicants must be familiar with the operation of various medical equipment, instruments, machines, and various office equipment.
Applicants must possess a Current State of Kansas Nursing License.
