Vice President of Human Resources Job Opening in Olathe, Kansas - Position Summary: The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for the ongoing management and support for HPC's human resource functions. The position includes a combination of both day-to-day process support and program/process development and management. Day-to-day support may include recruiting support, onboarding meetings, employee retention general employee relations inquiries, benefits administration, and payroll coordination. As an experienced HR generalist, the position is expected to evaluate, improve, or initiate new HR programs, processes, and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and manage all Human Resources programs and processes to ensure effective people policies and practices are in place and functioning properly.
Ensure excellent recruiting, onboarding, orientation and retention processes result in a solid employment brand in the community.
Assist with provider contract management, compensation analysis, and job offer processes.
Act as primary leader with employee relations matters, disputes, and performance management issues.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal human resources policies and practices.
Act as primary benefits administrator and liaison to all benefits providers, brokers, and partners.
Facilitate organization design and change initiatives to support the changing needs of the clinic.
Organize and manage human resources policies and handbook.
Coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing leveraging our relationship with Paylocity (payroll provider.)

Proven ability to remain calm, composed, and positive under challenging circumstances.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in human resources, business, or comparable program
Minimum of 5 years? experience as a human resource generalist in a small to midsize organization.
Direct experience in payroll administration and benefits coordination.
Direct experience with recruiting, onboarding, orientation, employee termination management.
Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Experience in healthcare (hospital, dental practice, clinic) preferred
Experience with Paylocity (payroll provider) preferred.
HRCI PHR or SPHR Certified or SHRM equivalent preferred.
