GASTROENTEROLOGIST ? ERCP/EUS Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Don?t miss this rare opportunity to join a flourishing gastroenterology practice in the city Frommer?s calls ?one of the most compelling destinations? in the South!
This well-established, expanding practice is looking for a skilled gastroenterologist with training in ERCP/EUS. The group is located in Birmingham, Alabama, named one of 2017?s Places To Go by The New York Times. Birmingham is a diverse, historic city with a thriving healthcare community. The city is loaded with charm, has a low cost of living, and is surrounded by lakes and mountains.
This group has a strong primary care referral system and a convenient setup. Its office is located just 10 minutes from each of the three major hospitals. Both the office and hospitals are close to surrounding neighborhoods, which feature outstanding public schools.
Physicians perform all GI procedures including ERCP, capsule, EUS, double balloon endoscopy, and HALO and treat conditions including hepatitis, pancreatic and biliary diseases, Crohn's, colitis and IBD. Procedures are performed at two state-of-the-art surgery centers.
Physicians enjoy an attractive call schedule and a family-friendly 4.5 day per week work schedule.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :
The practice offers attractive compensation with unlimited bonus potential, generous benefits, future investment opportunities, and an excellent retirement plan. The average annual compensation is mid six figures.
The position also provides relocation expenses, generous vacation, education and entertainment accounts, paid malpractice and society dues.

CANDIDATES :
The practice seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy training in ERCP/EUS. The candidate should have a clean history and excellent references. The candidate should share the practice?s commitment to an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, and should demonstrate an ability to work well with others.
