Pediatric Phlebotomist Job Opening in Fort Payne, Alabama - Requirements: Our requirements include: · High school diploma or equivalent, as well as Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency · Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent) · Minimum of 3 years of experience as a phlebotomist and office practice experience · Highly Proficient in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections. Must have EHR order entry experience. Strong Pediatric background required
Job Description: You love to interact with patients and play a role in their overall healthcare experience. As our Phlebotomist, you?ll be able to do just that. . Along with patient collection and obtaining specimens for processing, you?ll pack and ship specimens as well as prepare samples, verify insurance coverage, and fill out requisition forms. Your daily interaction with patients and sense of ownership, will be essential to our success. This is a very fast paced environment and requires a very efficient phlebotomist. Strong Pediatric background required. Starting pay $15 per hour.
