Development Manager Job Opening in Saint George, Utah - Job Title: Development Manager - FT/PT
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
FLSA Status: Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
In partnership with the CEO and Board of Directors, will research, create and implement the annual development plan to fund project goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works closely with the Executive Team to provide direction and leadership in the area of Family Healthcare development, by providing input, problem solving and decision-making that helps determine the direction and operation of Family Healthcare.
Oversees research of funding sources and trends, with foresight, for company funding projects, and ensures execution of all fund raising events.
Help position Family Healthcare ahead of major funding changes, challenges and opportunities.
Submits grants to state and federal funding opportunities, private foundations and corporate giving to ensure that revenue goals are met.
Develops and manages the organizations fundraising database and donor records.
Develops and implements a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with community partners.
Provides oversight to the public relations, marketing and communications plan.
Ensures the company website and other social media are current and represent the organization in an accurate and positive manner.
Maintains and produces organization collateral, including the Community Assessment and Annual Report.
Develops the organization philosophy to change the community perception of Family Healthcare, to being the provider of choice.
Provides oversight for the overall Branding of Family Healthcare.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by CEO
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Public Administration, Business Management, Administration or related fields.
7+ years of professional experience in a non-profit organization; demonstrating success in a development function.
Comprehensive knowledge of best practices and ethics in the fundraising industry.
Tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing donor relationship over time.
Demonstrated the ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors.
Demonstrated Success in Non-Profit fundraising initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of computer word processing, spreadsheet and database management software.
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Adaptable and flexible style, a leader who positively impacts strategic and tactical fundraising initiatives.
Able to work nights and weekends as required to support and perform essential functions.
Ability to travel for work when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
