Job Description
PCA assist with activities of daily living (turning and positioning, toileting, bathing and grooming, feeding, and mobility)
PCA assist with dressing and undressing, bathing, shaving, shampooing, toileting, nail care for non-diabetic clients, and assistance with essential correspondence and errands.
PCA provide general housekeeping, laundry/ironing, vacuum, dust, cleaning bathrooms and/or kitchen, changing bed linens, etc
PCA must have the ability to communicate any significant changes in behavior or medical status of client to supervisor.
PCA must be able to complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policies and state and/or federal regulations.
PCA must be able to perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
If Certified must have current active and valid licensure or certification for Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
Excellent communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize with good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to read, write and follow instructions
Must be 18 years or older
Valid Driver?s License
Must have reliable transportation
CPR is not required but preferred
