Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Location: This person can sit anywhere in the Western half of the U.S. They do not have to live In Utah.
Objective: Increase market penetration and sales in line with company goals/objectives within set territory boundaries by working with Manufacturer Rep firms and directly with key
Essential Job Functions:
Meet or exceed annual sales forecast
Meet or exceed sales drives, initiatives and product promotions objectives
Prepare and hold annual and quarterly rep and distributor reviews
Increase and maintain product penetration within existing accounts
Prospect and add new accounts
Introduce and sell newly introduced products and product lines
Assist customer with the merchandising, maintenance and detailing of M-D Building Products product lines
a) Develop and sell in-store merchandising programs
b) Develop and sell promotional activities
c) Coordinate and manage distribution of M-D sales materials
Determine customer needs by inventory management
Train Manufacturer Reps, Distributor Reps and store personnel on M-D Building Products products by conducting product knowledge classess and one-on-one training
Develop, manage and participate in trade shows and contractor nights
Displace competitors' programs
Job Standards:

Job Location: Job location is negotiable is near corporate headquarters in OKC, OK. Field work to be performed in retail home centers, building material outlets, hardware stores, Manufacturer Reps offices and Distributor warehouses.
Travel: Up to 50% across the US
