Radiology Scheduling and Customer Service Specialist Job Opening in Jacksonville, Florida - Summary
Busy, outpatient radiology practice is looking for empathetic, healthcare experienced individuals to coordinate patient?s appointments to include office visits. In addition to the below qualifications, we are looking for individuals who are familiar working a healthcare setting and can multitask in a high-volume call center environment.
Essential Functions
Answers high volume of phone calls with courtesy.
Accurately schedules patients per templates and established protocols.
Greets patients and physicians in a warm and friendly manner.
Responds to questions/concerns and directs them to the appropriate location/manager.
Collects and enters all necessary demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information.
Explains processes and provides prep instructions to patients.
Processes inbound referrals.
Works assigned worklists, such as outbound calls, order intake and radiology clearance.
Exhibit positive attitudes, willingness to help wherever asked, staying focused and on task to the matter and understanding the role and impact they have on the departmental team at hand.
Skills and Abilities
Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodations, including but not limited to:

Proficient Data Entry Skills
Ability to Work Independently
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills required.
Detail attentiveness required.
Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
Experience and Training: High school Diploma or equivalent
Bilingual is preferred.
