Insurance and Scheduling Administrator Job Opening in Bangor, Maine - Our growing team is looking for dental office administrator to assist with scheduling, patient accounts and insurance inquiries. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, a high level of integrity, is personable and able to work both independently and as part of our team. Experience with scheduling, administration, insurance knowledge, and customer service beneficial. Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong oral and communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.

Katahdin Pediatric Dentistry welcome parents and children to our practice where oral health is our passion. We strive to provide access to high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive and integrated oral health services.
Position could range between 20-40 hours per week. Availability for once-per-month Saturday work necessary. Pay commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibilities within this position are listed below: Office Front Desk Admin Responsibilities: ? Answer the phone and take messages ? Patient Account Review and ability to scan, track, organize and keep accounts up to date and current. ? Upkeep of office supplies ? Scheduling of Appointments? Tracking patient conversations in chart notes. Patient Accounting & Check Out Responsibilities: ? Record and maintain financial records on insurance payments for patient accounts; Note any conversations. ? Help prepare and mail invoices/statements ? Review Patient Accounts with parents as needed? Verify Treatment Plans, Draft and discuss payment plans as needed. ? Collect Payment at time of Check Out? Preparation of Bank Deposits for End of Day Report Qualifications / Skills and Abilities? Experience working in Quick books ,Excel and other office products? Strong oral and written communication abilities? Work and time management? Attention to detail and high level of accuracy? Teamwork and collaboration? Good interpersonal skills in a fast-paced dental office team environment
