The Role: We?re looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work with a small team.
Duties:
Design and run test scripts to ensure error free robot operations.
Design and implement our real time embedded controls, features and communication protocols.
Create seamless connections between robots and external devices.
Research and development on new ways to control real world devices.
Participate in all areas of development (brainstorming, test fixture design, hardware reviews).
Experience and attributes we?d like you to have:
4+ years embedded programming experience in C.
Microcontroller based data acquisition and processing, ARM processors.
Experience in robotics and control systems.
Possess a strong portfolio of past work and be able to show and explain projects.
Excellent debugging skills.
Version control systems (Git).
Thrive in an environment where you are working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Be self-motivated to set and meet aggressive goals without constant supervision.
Obsessive about quality and correctness.
Excitement about robotics, solving mysteries, and doing the impossible.
Bachelor?s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skill set.
Nice-to-Have? with:
Schematic and PCB design.
Bluetooth and Wifi communication.
Consumer product development
Compiler design.
Chinese manufacturing
Analyzing and modeling physical systems.
FPGA design (VHDL or Verilog coding)
