The Mid-Level Software Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of software applications, web sites and web services for the client.
Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning
Participate in the full lifecycle of application development projects.
Assist in the definition, development and documentation of functional specifications for each project.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling and implementation.
Commit to develop software solutions in accordance to the defined software strategy, application architecture and policy standards.
Work with customers and developers to refine requirements and to develop and implement solutions for the business.
Provide technical input for creation of policies, procedures and associated documentation.
Acquisition & Deployment
Collaborate in research into current and emerging software technologies and issues in support of software development efforts.
Operational Management
Develop, code, install, test, debug and document software applications.
Assist the IT Operations team in configuring and deploying the software applications.
Document new solutions and comment written code in accordance to standards and procedures.
Collaborate to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to software applications.
Collaborate in creating and maintaining user manuals and guidelines.
Train business analysts to operate new or modified programs.
Other duties as assigned.
