SAS Developer Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Work hands-on in SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide) and add new functionality to the tool to meet the needs
Work on ad-hoc customer requests that may lead to creation of complex queries and reports using SAS EG
Leverage the proven Client SAS Fin360 framework and build fully functional innovative solutions while integrating robust reconciliation and control processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact on managed processes in-light of changes migrations in the upstream systems - take remedial actions as necessary
Manage business relationships on behalf of the broader Finance organization and LeadershipWhat skills/attributes are a must have?
SAS Development experience: Need to be able to build complicated processes in SAS.
Would like some big data experience as well:
Hive, Sqoop and Pig Scripting.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Decision Science or related field
5+ years of experience in software development (using languages such as Java, , or SAS (including Macro programming))
5+ years of SQL programming skills
5+ years of data analysis and reporting experience
Demonstrated experience with developing, enhancing, and integrating Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Advanced SAS Programming Experience and SAS Certification
Project management or process improvement experience
Ability to leverage SAS technologies to solve advanced analytics use-cases
Healthcare experience
