Schuler?s Restaurant and Pub in Marshall, Michigan is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time key accounting and administrative support position. Typical schedule is M-F, 8:30am-5pm, with some holidays.
Job responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Accounts payable
Vendor relations
Payments (check and ACH)
Tracking of expenses
Verifying approval process complete
Research as needed
Accounts receivable
Customer relations
Invoicing
Tracking of charges and payments
Research as needed
Daily and weekly reporting
Importing reports from POS system
Tracking of sales, labor, payments, product mix and features
Entering information from POS system to accounting system and verifying data
Compiling daily information packets for management
Daily cash balancing
Verifying cash-on-hand; place change orders as needed
Verifying daily deposits
Recording deposits in accounting system
Follow-up and research as necessary
Hourly payroll processing
Hourly personnel recordkeeping
New hires
Terminations
Status Changes
Payroll entry and review using a 3rd party payroll system
Processing and tracking tips
Enter schedule into time clock system
Contact for staff inquiries
General administrative support and phone duties as needed.
The individual will also need to have the following skills/background:
Minimum two year accounting degree or general accounting experience.
Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced multi-task environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external customers and vendors.
Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve tasks while also interacting with others and being a team player.
