Sales Associate Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Responsibilities:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and information on product features.
Assesses customers need and provide assistance on products and merchandise.
Greet all customers and answer their quires upon entry.
Maintain all stock and back stock of store merchandise.
Actively seek out customers in store and answer all questions about merchandise that they might have.
Be knowledgeable of all merchandise in the store, i.e. know name brands and how the product runs.
Process POS (point of sale) system.
Handle returns and exchanges in a professional manner.
Basic math skills.
Requirements:
Previous work experience in retail.
Fashion forward image with a love for kids fashion.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly and energetic personality.
Flexible work schedule, must be able to work a few Saturdays a month!
Must be a team leader and lead by example.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $7.25 to $10.00 /hour
