The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Business Analyst on large initiatives preferably in the Insurance Domain. The successful candidate will work synergistically with the core delivery team to define, develop and implement business application solutions. This individual must have strong communication skills and business acumen as well as knowledge of the formal Software Development methodologies (Agile development a plus).
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you must plan, organize and facilitate requirement gathering sessions to elicit customer requirements and ensure that the goals were achieved.
Must be able to understand the customer?s objectives and business needs and translate those needs into Functional Requirements (User Stories).
Must be able to closely work with business and the Product Owner to gather and prioritize the backlog.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working in the Agile software development methodology.
- Experience in writing/refining User Stories and familiarity to Agile tools (Rally etc).
- Should have a very strong communication skill and should be able to handle client communications confidently.
- Should be able to work with the client Product Owner and business stakeholders in gathering
requirements and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Should have exposure to working in an onshore-offshore based model.
- Should possess knowledge on Insurance Domain .
- Should possess knowledge on using SQL and MS Office (including MS Visio ).
