Multifamily Sales Representative Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - Elite Flooring, Inc. is a leading floor covering contractor based in Atlanta, GA with regional offices in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. The company sells and services existing apartment communities, New Home Builders, Commercial & General Contractors and Multi-Family new construction among other account types and has a 21 year track record of proven success.
Synopsis:
We have an immediate opening for the full time position of Multifamily Sales Executive. The Sales Executive will report directly to the Branch Manager and have heavy dotted line reporting to the VP of Multi-Family. The Sales Executive will have a direct working relationship with property managers, regional managers, leasing agents and maintenance supervisors (our clients).
Role:
Through a high energy hands-on style guided by the objectives of the company, the Sales Executives main focus will be developing new relationships via account generation along with maintaining relationships with existing regional property management clientele. Day-to-day activities will include communicating with apartment managers, leasing agents, and maintenance personnel, along with Elite?s customer service team, warehouse and dispatch.
Primary Responsibilities:
New business development with apartment communities in a 75+/- mile radius of Charlotte, NC.
Assist the VP of Multi-Family with the coordination of large corporate accounts generated internally.
Maintain relationships with ?landed? Multi-Family clients.
Interact daily with property managers, leasing agents and maintenance personnel.
Numerous property visits to measure for flooring and prepare quotes.
Grow business organically by instilling confidence and gaining trust.
Work closely with internal customer service and dispatch to ensure high service levels at individual properties.
Assisting accounting with reconciling statements.
Providing quality control, and other assigned tasks.
Other functions include representing the organization at trade exhibitions.
Attending local apartment association meetings, and various other property dealings.
Process flooring orders.
Requirements:
Our Sales Executives main objective is new business development along with maintaining a high level of contact with their acquired customers through regular visits and calls. The person in this role can expect to be client facing 80% of the time and in the Charlotte office 20% of the time for account set up, maintenance and performing other sales related administrative duties.
A general knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods is beneficial; however, thorough understanding of flooring types or processes is not necessary. Training on all types of materials and installation methods along with Elite?s proprietary software will be provided. A thorough understanding of the multifamily industry is not required but would be advantageous. Strong phone and email communication as well as the ability to multi-task in a hectic environment is required. A strong sense of urgency and desire to creatively resolve problems is required.

Good typing, Word and Outlook skills required. Intermediate Excel skills required.
Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.
Ability to learn the company?s software.
