Solomon Energy Advisors is a fast growing energy brokerage company located in CT. Our sales team help small-mid size commercial clients lower their electricity bills and protect them in the market. We also identify needs for solar and LEDs. Our full support and experienced staff help our sales reps be the most successful they can be with praised personal and professional growth.
We are looking for a top notch Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with proven leadership skills that can recruit, motivate, and train a successful sales team. Regional managers get a base plus a percentage of each reps deal. The RSM will also be responsible for their own business development. This is a chance to build your own business with a potential for an equity position.
The RSM will be focused on:
- Develop new business from existing brokers while pursuing renewal business
- Utilize sales skills to manage and influence close ratio of Broker business
- Conduct daily sales team calls to motivate and discuss competitive advantages
- Continuously monitor reps on canvassing assigned territories
- Ensure that reps meet defined sales/financial goals (gross margin and energy volumes) and objectives defined
- Develop new brokers: training and ride alongs for every two weeks
- Incorporate new technology, CRM system to help efficiencies for sales
- Identify market opportunities for possible expansion in other states
Your background includes:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development with at least 2 of these years in energy sales
- TOP NOTCH verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to sell in front of the customer and close them
- Results oriented with a high level of personal initiative
- Bachelors Degree
