Showroom Sales/ Design Consultant Job Opening in Manchester, Connecticut - Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded design sales consultant to join our showroom sales team. In this role, you will work directly with our customers to design and sell tile and provide exceptional customer experiences in our stores
The ideal candidate is a motivated design and sales professional with a creative solutions-based approach and has a deep understanding of home décor and the residential and commercial construction industries. They will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to drive sales and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
Interact with customers and develop creative tile solutions to meet and exceed the customer needs
Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet individual and branch sales and profitability goals
Participate in on-going sales presentations, grass roots marketing efforts and related brand building sales driving activities
Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships; inspire trust
Qualifications
Interior Design certificate or equivalent experience
Proven sales experience in a home décor industry; preferably tile or floor covering
Ability to inspire customers, take initiative and be an ?energy-giver ?
Strong time-management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to personal and professional growth
PC/POS experience; CAD experience would be helpful??? ? NOT SURE IF THIS IS NECESSARY?
