Sales Development Representative Job Opening in Hartford, Connecticut - Swing by Swing Golf, Inc.(SxS) is seeking a highly-motivated inside sales representative to drive business expansion into new markets. SxS is well positioned for significant B2C and B2B expansion within its portfolio of golf-centric smartphone applications. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience as a new account prospector and inside sales representative.
Responsibilities:
This position reports to the V.P. of Sales and will have responsibility for global sales prospecting. This person will work as part of a multi-person sales team with common objectives around prospecting and closing new advertising, sponsorship and licensing business. Responsibilities include:
Identification, development, and acquisition of new customers, including establishment and daily management of a prospect sales-funnel program.
Establishing and managing the key milestones needed to disqualify a prospect or move the prospect into the team?s sales funnel with the applicable support
Participation in the establishment of sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Performance to sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Weekly sales funnel progress reporting
Generating qualified demos and outbound opportunities by phone and email
Reporting on our prospecting performance and identifying potential optimizations
Updating and leveraging CRM to better track our sales pipeline
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Great attitude and work ethic
Love talking on the phone and willing to make 100+ emails and 50+ outbound phone calls a day
Previous sales experience in B2B software or other B2B technical products
1-3 years of B2B sales development experience
Incredible attention to detail
Solid understanding of technology and natural aptitude for picking up new web applications
Proven experience developing and maintaining (small, medium, large) account relationships
Preferred:
Strong experience with a CRM system and sales automation software
Background in full lifecycle of enterprise technology sales
Proven selling experience in the B2B software industry

Salary plus incentive compensation program
