Python Developer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - An investment bank is actively seeking a Python Developer to join a cutting edge development team in Chicago. The Python Developer will bridge the gap between an advanced software development group and a capital markets focused middle office team. They will be responsible for the reporting and analytics on key initiatives for the business. They will also act as the liaison with technology and assist them throughout the software development lifecycle. This is an amazing opportunity for a developer to simultaneously work on technology and financial projects, gaining exposure in both areas.
Requirements for the position call for:
2-5 Years of experience as a Software Developer or Financial Engineer, Data Analyst, Quantitative Analyst,
A Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in an technically demanding field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
Ability to analyze and provide insight on large volumes of data
2 + years of experience with Python
2 + years of experience with SQL
Exposure to VBA, and/or Tableau is preferred
