Are you high energy with an exuberant personality? Maine Family Eye Care is a healthy, growing, private practice with a brand new working environment. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Optician/ Optical Frame Stylist. This position requires knowledge of the latest advancements in optical technology, anti-reflective coatings, optics and frame trends. Strong people skills, with good communication skills are key attributes. Job experience of a year or more is preferred, but we will gladly train a motivated applicant.

Maine Family Eye Care is a full service vision center serving the South Portland community for almost 30 years with an Optometrist on premises. Maine Family Eye Care treats patients with both optical needs and medical concerns related to eye care and eye disease.
Our office offers designer eyeglasses and contact lenses. We have over 1200 frames on our showroom floor. Our eye doctor utilizes the latest technology during patient examinations.
To be qualified, please have a high school diploma or equivalent, have a natural ability in building a client following or report, have sales experience, have good math skills, have computer skills and have some optical knowledge. ABO certification not necessary, but helpful.
Our practice offers competitive compensation, medical insurance, with paid time off for vacation and sick leave. This position is five days a week. You must have great attention to detail, be highly organized and have a cheerful disposition. Knowledge of vision plans and OfficeMate is a plus, but on-site training will be provided.
