When applying tell us which position you are specifically interested in. ***READ ENTIRE JOB POSTING AND ENSURE YOU TELL US YOUR EXPERIENCE*** Position #1 Location: Power and Southern in Mesa Hours: DURING SCHOOL: M- T 4-8pm, W- TH 3-8:30pm Sat 10a-8p SUMMERTIME: M-T 10a-6p, W-TH 10a-7p, Sat 10a-8p ** This is working with 13 year old Autistic girl who is deaf*** REQUIREMENTS: **MUST BE FLUENT IN SIGN LANGUAGE** Must be dependable and have a passion for working with kids and young adults and their unique needs. Ideal candidate will have professional demeanor and be respectful of the family home and be looking for a long term position as stability and consistency is highly important. Must be honest and respectful with a strong work ethic. Position #2 Location: Indian Bend and 101 in Scottsdale Hours: M-TH 3p-8p and Sundays 2-8pm **This is working with a 13yr old with Cerebral Palsy** REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate will have medical background, preferably CNA. Must be reliable, honest, looking for a LONG TERM position and have a passion for working with kids and young adults with special needs. Must be physically able to lift and help with balance when necessary. Looking for someone who is professional with a strong work ethic who is fun, energetic and good motivator. Position #3 Location: Signal Butte and Elliot in Mesa, AZ Hours: M-F 3:30- 8:xp and Every other Friday late evening as needed. **This is working for an 11 year old boy with Autism** REQUIREMENTS: Must have dependable transportation. Must have experience with Autism and/or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must be reliable, fun and energetic. Must have a passion for working with kids and have a willingness to learn. Must be able to take direction and follow-through with minimal guidance and assistance. Must be willing to teach individual with siblings for social interaction. Position #4 Location: Az Ave and Chandler Blvd in Chandler, AZ Hours: M-F 7a-7pm (will be split with current provider into 6hr shifts) THESE HOURS ARE SUMMER TIME ONLY, will be afternoons only starting in the fall. Ideal candidate will have teaching and/or direct care experience. Must have experience with behaviors and have a passion for working with individuals with special needs. Must be a self initiator and motivator, but also have a great personality, be fun and active. Position #5 Location: Alma School and Baseline in Mesa, AZ Hours: M-F 3-6pm **This is working with 2 Autistic teenage boys (16 & 18)** REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate will have experience working with Autism and looking for a long term position. Must be dependable and have RELIABLE AND SAFE transportation. Looking for someone flexible and able to work with the needs of the family as schedule may change as we head into summer. ABOUT AFFINITY FAMILY CARE AND THE POSITION: Caregivers work one-on-one, providing non-medical care to clients with disabilities in their own home. They also participate in community activities with the client. Caregivers cannot bring children or other family members to work. Must be drug-free and have dependable transportation. Starting salary is $9.75 - $11.x based upon the service being provided. Affinity Family Care offers all training. Required training is one day and day is unpaid.
