Accountant Job Opening in Cleveland, Ohio - Dynamic, international technology company in downtown Cleveland is seeking an Accountant with 3-5 years experience.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks and providing key assistance to the financial reporting process.
Job Duties (depending on experience):
Process daily cash application from international wires, lockbox, checks, and credit cards.
Send monthly customer statements and perform collection functions for past due accounts
Handle customer inquiries regarding outstanding invoices and payments
Analyze credit risk
Match A/P invoices to packing slips and/or purchase orders; enters invoices into business system
Process weekly check run
Sales tax filings for multiple states
Vendor Inquiries
Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Bank account reconciliation
Payroll analysis
Assist in monthly inventory counts, reconciliation and analysis
Assistance for year end audit
Assist CFO with all reporting functions, including to the Board, upper Management, and all other Department Heads
Financial analysis including historical expenditures and future expectations
Cash flow management
Adoption of metric analysis versus industry standards
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Great relationship skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff, financial management and outside dealer network
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus
Strong desire to improve knowledge, skills, and processes
International accounting experience a plus
Advanced reporting skills a plus; specifically Crystal
Multi-company and multi-currency consolidation a plus
International accounting and compliance a plus
