Accounting Manager Job Opening in Crestview, Florida - Job Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of Accounting duties in the Corporate Accounting Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Handles month end trial balance reconciliations·
Provides support in preparing material for audits for both DCAA and external auditors.
Assists in year-end incurred cost submissions and indirect rate calculators.
Performs various financial analysis and reporting activities.
Assists with documenting accounting policies and procedures.
Supervises Accountant and Accounts Payable Accountant positions.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or similar field.
5 + years? experience in Accounting with an emphasis in government contracting.
Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess good analytical skills.
Good computer skills, i.e., Word, Excel. etc.
Good oral and written communication skills required.
Data Gathering, Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Reporting.
