Sales Representative Job Opening in Anchorage, Alaska - Alaska Waste, a Waste Connections, Inc. company, is currently looking for a Sales and Territory Representative to cover our Anchorage, AK market. In this position, you will maintain a customer base and upsell our products along with selling commercial garbage and recycling services to new businesses within the Anchorage area.
This is a position with excellent growth potential, both within the realm of sales as well as in other areas of our nation-wide company.
Base salary, mileage reimbursement, company phone, iPad, family benefits, 401k, vacation. You will be a part of a 3 person team covering the Anchorage area.
Job Duties:
· Sales of commercial garbage and recycling services
· Preparing bids, weekly call reports and calling new and existing customers
· Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Communicate to and work with the Outside Sales Manager to resolve unique customer
issues
Qualifications:
· Must have College Degree and at Least 2-3 years Outside Sales Experience
· Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines
· Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent self-management skills
· Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and internet proficiency.
· Strong sales skills including prospecting, forecasting, pitching, presenting, and closing deals
· Outstanding people skills. Strong in-person, written and oral communication skills
· Strong organizational and analytic skills
