Health Care Call Center Supervisor Job Opening in Bethesda, Maryland - CareMetx is seeking ambitious, motivated individuals with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills who would like the opportunity to help people navigate the difficult healthcare landscape using their healthcare administration or information technology patient's are prescribed high cost, specialty medications , organizations like CareMetx are hired by pharmaceutical companies to provide "hub services." This niche industry has fast become an integral player in getting specialty products and devices to the patients who need them by managing the reimbursement for those products, identifying alternative funding when insurer's don't pay and providing clinical services when necessary. The hub maintains communication with physicians, specialty pharmacies, payers and others to assure patients get their medications in a timely fashion and continue to track progress while they are taking the medication.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of a Manager or Director, the Supervisor is responsible for the day to day activities of the program. The supervisor will assist the manager in meeting the client contractual obligations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors employee job performance to ensure that all necessary task are completed in accordance with specifications and deadlines.
Conducts performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
Assist with the coaching of staff.
Provides day-to-day instructions to team members on job responsibilities.
Helps associates resolve associate work-related issues.
Assist with the hiring and termination process.
Assist with the development of program training documents.
Ensures open communication with the staff.
Proactively identifies program issues and proposes ways in which to address their concerns.
Maintains positive rapport with internal and external customers.
Understands contract obligations.
Assist in the development of project task plan and standard operating procedures
Analyzes reports for trends and gives recommendations.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Previous 4-5 plus years of experience in a physician?s office, healthcare setting, and/or related experience.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
The ability to manage multiple task.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to resolve associate issues effectively and efficiently.
Proven ability to appropriately escalate issues to management.
Provides a climate for motivation and support.
Ability to appropriately delegate task.
