Corporate Tax Accountant Job Opening in Eden Prairie, Minnesota - Perform Tax Research in support of tax planning projects and tax audits as required
Administration of sales and use tax filings by third party in over 45 states including gathering data, return prep and review and cash planning.
Maintain fixed asset records for tax reporting purposes * Income tax return preparation or review
Review property tax assessments and identify opportunities working with property tax consultant
Reconcile tax accounts as needed
Remain current with federal and state law changes
Administer property tax return and payments
Prepare and file city and county business licenses
Assist manager with special projects and other job-related duties as assigned
Serve as a resource regarding taxes within the company
Assist year-end accrual review and tax provision.
Assist with audits, research, and verify papers for various book to tax differences.
Share best practices around our company?s tax processes and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance
1-3 years within corporate tax - federal and state income tax experience
