Accounts Payable Specialist Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - We are a real estate company looking for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist. We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic, detailed, self starter who can manage general accounting and clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Review and verify invoices and check requests
Sort, code and match invoices
Set invoices up for payment
Enter and upload invoices into system
Track expenses and process expense reports
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Prepare and perform check runs
Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Prepare analysis of accounts
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Produce monthly reports
Assist with month end closing
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Education and Experience
Knowledge of accounts payable
Knowledge of general accounting procedures
QuickBooks and Yardi experience a plus
Proficient in data entry and management
3+ years accounts payable experience

Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary as well as health insurance, dental, life and short and long term disability after 60 days of employment. Eligible for 401K plan with 4% employer match after 60 days of employment. We also offer paid time off and holidays to our full time employees.
