Radiologic Technologist Job Opening in Tualatin, Oregon - Job Description:
Technician transports, sets up and operates company?s Extra Corporeal Shockwave lithotripter (ESWL) devices as well as the holmium laser systems at hospitals within their assigned geographical region as well as any other locations the company conducts or might conduct business.
Job Duties:
· Accounting for and collection of assigned medical technology and all associated accessories from designated storage facilities as required according to Wave Form Systems policies and procedures.
· Safe transport of laser systems and other medical technology to and from medical facilities as per WFS policies and procedures.
· Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer?s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting maintenance issues as per policy and procedure.
· Works with facility staff to properly decontaminate and/or sterilize device accessories before and after procedures.
· Responsible for proper radiation safety measures in accordance with WFS policies and procedures.
· Documentation of pre, intra and post-operative activities in accordance with company policies, HIPAA guidelines and ANSI standards.
· Ability to work with and properly communicate with doctors and operating room staff regarding equipment and procedures. Ability to answer doctor and staff questions pertaining to equipment and procedures.
· Work with credentialing specialist to complete and maintain licensure and facility required documentation of vaccinations, facility specific policies and procedures, and required training.
· Document expenses as per WFS P/P.
· Adhere to dress code as per WFS policy.
· Care and maintenance of assigned company vehicle as well as adherence to Company?s DOT policy.

· Maintain and pass yearly DOT physicals.
· Ability to operate company?s ESWL truck.
· Maintain a clean driving record.
· Ability to properly communicate in both written form and verbally.
· Exhibit exemplary customer service.
· Ability to work independently as well as with a team in both the operating room and office staff.
