Job Responsibilities of an In-Home Caregiver
To transport clients and provide assistance with shopping, errands and medical appointments
To assist with menu planning and meal preparation
To provide light housekeeping
To provide laundry services
To document services where appropriate in client?s service plans
To have knowledge of individual client?s service plan
To provide social opportunities
To provide reassurance
Use all equipment in a safe and proper method
Maintains the confidential of the work environment
Is familiar with the current condition of each client
Organizes tasks efficiently to deliver client?s services
Relate positively to client and others involved in their services
Observe changes in the service plan to accommodate the changing needs of the client
Other duties as assigned
