Director of Nursing Job Opening in Tualatin, Oregon - We are an established Alzheimer?s & Dementia Care Facility for seniors located in the Greater Tualatin, OR area.
Job Description:
The role of the Director of Nursing is to assist in the planning, organizing and development of resident services in accordance with regulatory standards and customer expectations. Duties include but are not limited to promoting a positive living environment for assisted living dementia residents, resident assessment & care planning, administration of the medication management program, and training and supervising care giving staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Registered Nurse preferred, Licensed Practical Nurse with strong background in long-term care will be considered.
State license current and in good standing
Knowledge of Assisted Living Regulations
Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting
Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care
Strong organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks
Experience in training and staff development
