DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Answering phone calls and replying to emails.
Basic Bookkeeping
Organizing company files
Reviewing paperwork
Talking to tenants and enforcing policies
Conduct a walk-through of a property and take notes
Assist with coordinating turnovers
Working with vendors to coordinate repairs
Speak to clients about general policies
Attend meetings and trainings
Review ads, correspondence and policies to ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
Researching and implementing ways to improve the company
Crisis management skills
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or equivalent required; an Undergraduate Degree preferred.
Must have property managers license or obtain one within the first 6 months of employment
Strong verbal and written communications skills (in English), allowing for clear communication in a variety of settings (phone, in-person and email), and with people of various backgrounds and levels, both internally and externally.
Must be able to use email, cell phones and tablets
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Must be able to work Monday through Friday
Strong time management skills
Must be able to passing a background check and drug screening
Knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance is helpful, but not required.
Strong listening skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow up and follow through
Be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
1 year or more experience required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds.
COMPENSATION
This position is salary based. We offer holiday pay for major holidays. Mileage reimbursement when applicable. We offer a health insurance stipend instead of a healthcare plan directly.
