Financial Assistant Job Opening in Waterloo, Iowa - This position is an 80% / 4 days per week position; eligible for benefits
The optimal candidate will have experience in the following:
General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable
Processing payroll bi-weekly.
Assisting with manual billing.
Maintaining an inventory control system for supplies.
Positive interactions with co-workers
Data entry of time and mileage accounting
Demonstrated understanding of the ethical nature of accounting and maintains confidentiality of all financial matters.
Experience and knowledge of payroll systems, accounts payable and receivable is required.
Experience in a healthcare setting a plus
Valid driver?s license and proof of insurance would be needed at hire
Educational Requirements include:
At least two (2) years of formal study with emphasis and courses in business or accounting preferred.
Demonstrated ability to use computer programs such as Word and Excel and familiar with Outlook for email is required. Experience using SAGE50 a plus.
