We are currently recruiting for a talented Embedded Software Engineering Manager to join the Engineering group located in Southfield, MI and manage our software development tools (C, C++, etc.)
Relocation assistance is available. H-1 Transfer (only) possible.
The right person for this role will have 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years of experience managing technical resources. A strong process-driven mentality will be critical for success in this role. The right individual will also have excellent experience interfacing between technical resources and business and executive stakeholders, a client-centric attitude, and a strong understanding of embedded systems and software architecture.
The right Embedded Software Manager candidate will use his/her engineering and project management, organization, communication, management, analysis, and tool management skills to optimize our R&D efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, including prior management experience
Proven automotive industry experience
Software Architecture experience.
Root-Cause Analysis, validation, CM experience, RCA, etc.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proven management experience.
Process-driven metrics mentality and history.
Interest and experience analyzing new technology.
