Accountant/Bookkeeper Job Opening in Hanover, Virginia - Growing HVAC company looking for part-time Company serves residential and light commercial customers in Richmond and the surrounding areas.
Position is approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily cash flow reports
Assist in month-end activities, including journal entries and financial reporting
Management of AR - invoicing and collection process
Management of AP - vendor relations, reconciliation of daily purchases, expense tracking for ongoing projects
Cash reconciliations weekly
Prepare various analysis and reports, as needed
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting preferred
Experience in HVAC industry preferred
Knowledge of GAAP accounting
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Highly proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
Aptitude for working independently and problem solve with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
