We use the latest in online accounting tools to serve small businesses in Vermont and around the country. We are looking to add a part-time Bookkeeper who has a good understanding of accounting and is able to work from home/remotely (can be located anywhere in Vermont - but must be Vermont based). This position can grow into full-time in about 90 days if desired. Must be comfortable with Quickbooks Online. Must be professional, a self-starter, and be comfortable communicating with our business owner customers via e-mail and phone. Must be able to handle bookkeeping for multiple companies at a time using online accounting software. Must be available to work most of your hours between the normal business day (8am to 5pm) so that you can be responsive to customers requests. Must be comfortable with learning new online software and comfortable using technology in general, including video chat software, email, spreadsheets, Google apps, etc.
Preferring someone have a few years of bookkeeping experience or at least an Associates in Accounting/Business or an Accounting Certificate with the desire to learn. Initial interviews will be conducted via video conference software (Google Hangout, Skype or Facetime).
