Team Bookkeeper Job Opening in Barre, Vermont - Downstreet Housing & Community Development is looking for a temporary, full-time BookKeeper. The position will be supervised by the Chief Financial Officer, and will work closely with the organization?s Accountant. The BookKeeper will primarily be responsible for entering and processing cash receivables, preparing deposit tickets, filing, and special projects as assigned by the CFO and Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, attention to detail, strong people skills, and ability to organize and juggle multiple tasks. Must have data-entry experience. Previous accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
The position is temporary, full-time, hourly. Position runs through February 2018.
37.5 hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Rate of pay is $15/hour.
