Inside Sales Engineer Job Opening in Williston, Vermont - Responsible for taking incoming customer and Field Sales Engineer inquiries and providing product recommendations, support and quotes. Responsible for all quoting and quote follow ups. Helps to secure orders. Required to use CRM for managing daily activities and documenting customer notes, quotes, orders, and other pertinent information. Responsible to know and execute all sales processes. Maintains pricing worksheets. Inside sales engineers engage with Sensing service, design engineering, applications engineering, sales team leaders, and other departments. Helps to secure orders for new product development. Occasionally are assigned specific customers and assigned to specific sales teams. Travel is not expected.
Job Responsibilities
Takes customer inquiries via phone, website leads, Field Sales Engineers , contracted reps, or email requests.
Get orders
Prepares all quoting and quote follow ups
Proactively engages customers in post-sales efforts
Demonstrates expertise in use of CRM
Provides Voice of the Customer (VOC) information to sales and marketing managers
Expected to be aware of all competitors
Competencies Required
BSEE or BSME with 2-5 years previous experience in design, sales, marketing and/or product development
Well organized, simultaneously handle multiple projects
Self-motivated
Technical understanding of all products.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Works well with minimum oversight and displays maturity and professionalism in daily activities.
Previous sales experience selling technical products
Competencies Preferred
Prior experience with pressure sensors, wireless networks, and related technologies
