Your job responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining records by accurately recording day to day financial transactions
Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits
Ad-hoc reporting
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Credit card, bank, cash deposit, and time sheet reconciliations
Compile and process payroll
Check and verify source documents such as invoices & receipts
What we expect (but do not require) from preferred applicants:
Proficiency in Quickbooks & Microsoft Office, & general computer literacy
A minimum of either an associate?s degree or 2 years experience related to financial systems, budgets, reporting, data analysis, auditing, taxation and advice
Knowledge of economics principles and bookkeeping practices
Ability to act as a SME (subject matter expert) for enhancing accounting related aspects of internal systems
Bookkeeping certification
Problem solving and analysis
Month end close experience
High energy, detailed oriented with exceptional organization skills
Compensation based on salary history, experience and education level
