Maintains an optimal workflow for the production facility through detailed scheduling, monitoring daily exception messages, analyzing data, and resolving routine and non-routine issues. * Establishes and maintains production schedule as required by ERP system and/or from production, purchasing, quality control, and marketing and by evaluating scheduling alternatives, determining the best course of action, and updating the ERP system. * Generates data or runs standard reports, summarizes and communicates conclusions generated from these reports, and recommends improvements. * Assists with the development and maintenance of the short term schedule with production. * Assists with mid and long-term production plans that serve as the foundation for raw material, and schedules. * Receives production schedule messages from production personnel and resolves or redirects as appropriate. * Communicates current versions of schedule and priority with appropriate team members. * Uses/develops reports and tools that could improve production workflow and plans/schedules. * May review and maintain forecasts for catalog items. * Will be required to configure components by lot prior to final packaging.
Required Skills
Strong computer skills required with working knowledge in Windows Office environment. * General Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling application skills are required. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, instruction or reports. * Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. * Thorough understanding of Routings and Bills of MaterialRequired Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. 2 or 4 year college degree preferred. APICS CPIM certification a plus.
Experience: 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working within an ERP system(SAP) or Lean Manufacturing environment required.
