Controller Job Opening in Charlestown, Indiana - Multi-faceted Healthcare and Hospitality based service company in Southern Indiana seeks to recruit an experienced Controller to support and assist in the reopening and start-up of facilities in the hospital and hospitality services industry
Job Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to) :
Financial analysis
Oversee and manage general ledger activity
Develop policies and procedures
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
Prepare reports and communications
Manage cost reports
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Reconciliations
Perform internal audits
Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of the following:
Monthly financial statements
Month-end closing
Year-end closing
Internal and external audits
Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Tax preparation
Experience in an Acute Care Hospital setting
