Senior Accountant Job Opening in Stamford, Connecticut - Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Analysis and reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Prepare month and year-end reporting and financial statements
Analyze, reconcile and ensure compliance related to inventory
Manage ACH transactions and process weekly checks
Review and support A/R & A/P responsibilities
Assist with year audit, and periodic audits or warehouses
Ensure tax, insurance, and risk compliance
Support Accounting Manager and Controller with ad hoc duties as necessary
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
CPA is strongly preferred
Experience within a consumer products company preferred
Inventory/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing company preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work both individually and within a team
