Accountant
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintains records, prepares various financial reports, documents, analyses, invoices, and assists with monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
Implements policies and procedures for maintaining an accurate reconciliation of receivables and related records, student accounts, third party accounts, and other general ledger accounts.
Prepare various general ledger and account reconciliations.
Preparing financial reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Complete bank statement reconciliation.
Will have to work on tax related matters pertaining to local tax laws.
Accounting and reconciliation of related party transactions and interacting with the group companies.
Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely payments and filing of direct & indirect tax returns in compliance with statutory tax Acts.
Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Associates degree in Accounting or Business.
3+ years of experience performing accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial statement preparation, bank statement reconciliation.
Hands-on expert level proficiency with Excel and Inxsql software
Thorough knowledge of governmental accounting methods, procedures and accounting practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
