We currently have an opening for Technology Education Specialist. Technology Education Specialist Work with school-age children (6 year olds to young adults x years old) in a residential child care setting to provide assistance in completing school work using computers, software, peripherals, and the Internet. This includes planning, designing, and implementing a developmentally appropriate technology curriculum that meets the individual needs of each child in one to one or classroom settings. This is a full-time position with work hours after school and on weekends. High School diploma required. Graduation from an accredited College or University preferred. Minimum of one year experience in residential care setting with children Proficiency in the use of a personal computer, and in the use of word processing, database, and related software. Must pass all criminal history background checks. Must have Texas driver's license and provide Department of Public Safety proof of driving record acceptable to agency insurers for the past three (3) years.
